Bigtime

This was done for a Bungie forum art contest a couple years back. Somehow I managed to get first place over Pinkuh, who is a phenomenal artist. I think I might have yanked the judge's heart strings a bit with the Marathon theme and Craig Mullins-esque painting and lighting.

I do have a confession to make. I cheated quite a bit making this. The background is a screenshot from the Marathon map "Bigtime" which I modified in Photoshop. I also completely ripped off Craig Mullin's color palette. When you take those things away you can tell there's not much to it.

Perhaps that's why I never received the promised T-Shirt for winning. I probably shouldn't have told the guy buying the prize about what I did
